Green
TV has received grants from foundations, businesses and individuals,
too numerous to name, for many film projects. We’d like
to thank a few exceptionally generous foundations and companies that
stand out. |

Patagonia
has generously contributed cash and expedition equipment to several
Green TV documentaries. They never ask for credit or acknowledgement.
So here is our unsolicited and sincere acknowledgement: Patagonia,
you make wonderful garments and you are a company with a great soul!
Thank you! |

AJA
Video makes a magic box, called the AJA I/O, which is the heart
of Green TV’s digital non-linear editing system. It allows
us to use the high-quality analog Betacam broadcast format in a digital
system. AJA’s gift of the I/O to Green TV has made an enormous
difference in being able to edit video effectively |

Boreal
supplied our Counting Sheep
video crew with beautiful mountaineering boots. Bighorn sheep
have four feet wonderfully adapted with soft pads and hard edges for
climbing Sierra ridges. Our crew had two legs each, weighed down with
video gear, food and camping equipment. The sturdy, well-made
boots from Boreal helped us equalize the situation. |
Cabelas
outfitted us with some amazingly warm and cozy “Alaskan Guide”
down sleeping bags. Thanks to Cabelas, a hunting and fishing outfitter,
nobody had to count sheep to fall asleep in the snow camp at 12,000’.

Eureka!
makes tents and backpacks for backpacking, and donated several of each
to Counting Sheep expeditions. Their tents and packs
withstood some serious abuse over many back country trips, were trampled
on, snowed on, dropped by llamas and still those Eureka! zippers zipped.
Sincere thanks to Eureka! |
These foundations have been particularly generous to many Green TV fundraising campaigns. We are deeply grateful. Abelard
